STORY

The Visual Comfort David Art Light is a wall-mounted picture light from the David range, designed by Thomas O'Brien to illuminate artwork, mirrors and signage with considered directionality. Its form and finish recall a measured, craft-led approach to presentation lighting.

The light features a long, horizontal trough-style shade with a curved, semi-cylindrical profile and contrasting dark end caps that create a framed aesthetic. It is offered in Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Bronze finishes to complement both traditional and industrial interiors.

Constructed in metal, the shade carries a hand-rubbed antique brass surface with a slightly mottled texture, while the interior is finished in a dark, matte tone to reduce glare and focus the light downward. A low-profile rectangular backplate provides a clean wall mounting detail.

Designed to produce a broad, even wash, the open-bottom trough directs light downward across a flat plane. The fitting uses an E27 keyless socket and is specified with LED T10 compatibility; it is IP20 and Class I, intended for indoor, dry-zone use.

Key product dimensions are: height 9.6cm, width 30.5cm, extension 14.7cm, with a 15.3cm x 9.6cm rectangular backplate. The fitting weighs approximately 1.8 kg and carries a one-year manufacturer warranty.
