STORY

The Visual Comfort Covet Flush Mount is a low-profile surface-mounted ceiling light from Kelly Wearstler's Covet range for Visual Comfort, formed around a substantial block of natural alabaster and framed by metal hardware.

The design is rectilinear and intentionally minimal: a rectangular alabaster diffuser is held by two L-shaped metal clips so the stone remains the visual focus. It is offered in Antique-Burnished Brass, Bronze and Polished Nickel finishes, and comes in Medium and Large sizes.

Construction pairs a solid, translucent alabaster shade with a metal mounting base and clips. The alabaster is cut as a thick, matte block so each unit shows unique veining and subtle variations in colour and texture.

Light is delivered as soft, diffused ambient illumination with the stone itself glowing to reveal internal geological patterning. The flush profile keeps the fitting close to the ceiling, creating balanced ambience and reduced shadowing suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, home offices and conservatories.
