STORY

The Visual Comfort Corbin Mini Accent Lamp, designed by Kate Spade for the Corbin range, is a compact table lamp intended for decorative and localized lighting in bedrooms, living rooms and home offices. Its vertical silhouette and refined detailing make it a focused accent piece rather than a primary room light.

Design-wise the lamp pairs a square pedestal base with a rounded, distressed mercury-glass sphere and a tall, tapered drum shade. The contrast between the geometric base and the organic glass form creates a considered balance; the Corbin Mini is available in Sandy Turquoise, Maraschino, Blush and Black Pearl finishes.

Build quality combines blown glass and metal: a mottled mercury finish defines the spherical body while the base, neck and finial are metal with a warm polished tone. The shade is an off-white, textured fabric that sits on a small metallic finial. Key dimensions are height 53.3cm, width 27.3cm and base 12.7cm square; the lamp weighs 3.2 kg.
