STORY

The Visual Comfort Collier Beaded Swag Chandelier, designed by Sean Lavin, is a sculptural ceiling chandelier that pairs an elongated strand of barrel beads with metal hardware. The piece reads as a decorative lighting accessory intended to be secured between two ceiling points to form a gentle, jewellery-like catenary curve.

The strand is composed of off‑white, barrel-shaped beads separated by small gold-coloured spacers and finished with gold-toned end-caps and a flat circular ceiling canopy. The Collier is available in Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Polished Nickel finishes, and offered with 2700K or 3000K colour temperatures.

Construction combines metal fittings with smooth, stone-like beads that appear to be ceramic or glass, producing a tactile, refined surface. The minimalist single‑strand design gives a modern, textured alternative to traditional multi-arm chandeliers.

Designed primarily as a decorative ceiling-mounted swag, the flexible construction allows the depth of the drape to be adjusted to suit the distance between two fixings. The fitting is specified with a CRI of 90 and an IP20 rating, indicating use in dry, interior spaces.
