STORY

The Visual Comfort Collier Pendant, designed by Sean Lavin, is a vertical multi-light ceiling pendant that reads as a sculptural column. The Collier range uses stacked translucent stone shades and warm metalwork to create ambient, diffused illumination suited to interior living spaces with generous ceiling heights.

Its form is a repetitive stack of faceted, biconical shades with a hexagonal cross-section, producing a totem-like profile. The pendant is offered in Polished Nickel and Hand‑Rubbed Antique Brass and is available with colour temperatures of 2700K or 3000K.

Construction pairs translucent stone shades—showing natural vein patterns—with metal connectors and a circular ceiling canopy. The metalwork appears in a warm brushed brass or gold-toned finish and articulated joints keep the column aligned for a clean vertical expression.

Each stone segment is illuminated from within to provide soft, diffused ambient light while the faceted geometry keeps an architectural clarity of form. The fitting delivers high colour fidelity with a CRI of 90, making finishes and surfaces appear natural under its glow.

Mounting is via a flat circular canopy for ceiling installation. The pendant is rated IP20 and intended for interior, dry locations; it is therefore best suited to halls, stairwells, foyers and other high-ceiling spaces. Manufacturer warranty: 1 year.
