STORY

The Visual Comfort Collier Chandelier, designed by Sean Lavin, is a decorative chandelier drape that uses rope-like strands of solid faceted crystal to add refined sparkle to a ceiling fitting or architectural installation.

Its form is deliberately minimal: linear, flexible strands of faceted crystal sit on metal jump rings to create a natural catenary curve when draped between two anchor points. The drape is offered in Polished Nickel and Natural Brass finishes, and in 2700K or 3000K colour temperatures.

Construction combines Czech-made solid faceted crystal beads with silver-toned metal links and small circular metal mounting caps at each end. The uniform bead size and repeating pattern keep the visual rhythm subtle and consistent, letting the crystal brilliance take priority over a visible frame.

Designed as an ornamental component rather than an integral luminaire, the Collier drape complements pendant and chandelier arrangements by catching and refracting existing light; its high CRI (90) supports accurate colour rendering. The IP20 rating denotes indoor use only — not suitable for damp or outdoor locations.

The dual-point mounting system allows installers to determine the depth and width of each drape, and the modular nature of the design supports custom configurations across a scheme.
