The Visual Comfort Circon Table Lamp, designed in collaboration with Waterford, is a rechargeable accent table light that pairs a ribbed, spherical clear glass shade with a compact cylindrical metal base. The design combines a tactile, tiered-glass form with a restrained geometric base to offer considered ambient light for tables, shelves and desks.

The lamp’s clear glass globe features prominent horizontal ridges that give it a distinctive beehive or tiered-ring aesthetic. The Circon is offered in Natural Brass, Polished Nickel and Bronze finishes; the photographed example shows a dark, matte base with a brass-toned internal fitting visible through the glass.

Constructed from glass and metal, the lamp balances a transparent, refractive upper section with an opaque metal base. The internal brass-toned hardware is visible through the clear shade and provides a subtle metallic accent against the base.

Light is delivered from an internal source housed within the glass sphere. The horizontal ribbing refracts and diffuses the light to create a layered, warm ambient glow suited to accent or mood lighting. The lamp is cordless and rechargeable, allowing portable placement without an external mains connection. IP22 indicates suitability for indoor use.
