STORY

The Visual Comfort Carraig Chandelier is a modern decorative ceiling light from Visual Comfort’s Carraig range, created in collaboration with Waterford. Constructed from metal with multi-faceted clear crystal diffusers, it is designed to provide ambient illumination while acting as a sculptural centrepiece within interior spaces.

The fixture reads as an organic, asymmetrical armature: a long, slender vertical downrod connects to a circular canopy and a branching metal frame with five tapered arms. The stark contrast between the matte dark metal and the transparent, gem-like crystal modules creates a contemporary, jewellery-inspired silhouette. It is available in Bronze, Natural Brass and Polished Nickel.

The build is metal throughout, finished in a dark matte treatment reminiscent of blackened steel or dark bronze, paired with large, cut gemstone-style crystal or glass diffusers. Each clear, faceted module is shaped to refract and scatter light from its internal source, revealing surface texture and depth.

The chandelier supports five individual light sources, each housed within a faceted crystal module. The diffusers refract and scatter the light to produce ambient illumination with subtle changes in shadow and clarity as you move through the room. The fitting is intended for general interior ambient lighting and to serve as a focal pendant.

This is a fixed-height, hardwired ceiling installation supplied with a rigid vertical stem and canopy; the listing specifies an overall length of 52in.
