STORY

Visual Comfort Carola Wall Light, designed by Aerin Lauder, is a decorative interior wall light that pairs a circular metal backplate with a straight, rectangular-profile supporting arm and a bowl-shaped White Strie glass shade. The Carola range references crafted textures and considered proportions to deliver calm, ambient illumination.

The design contrasts geometric and organic forms: a flush circular backplate and a block-like bracket sit against a soft, marbled glass bowl. The fitting is offered in two finishes — Polished Nickel and Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass — with a single White Strie glass option.

Constructed from metal with a brushed, matte brass appearance where specified, and a thick-walled White Strie glass shade, the fixture emphasises material presence and subtle texture. The glass carries an alabaster-like swirl that gives each shade a distinct visual character.

Light is delivered from an internal socket set within the translucent bowl; the open-top shade diffuses illumination for ambient or accent layering. The arrangement reduces direct glare while providing gentle up-and-down light suitable for circulation spaces, living rooms and bedrooms.

The Carola wall light is rated IP20 for interior dry-zone use and mounts flush to the wall via its circular backplate. Bulbs are fitted into the internal socket and are supplied separately; please check the technical specification for compatible lamp types and maximum wattage. Manufacturer's warranty: 1 year.
