Visual Comfort Calvino Large Tail Sconce is a decorative wall-mounted light by designer Ian K. Fowler from the Calvino range. The sconce pairs a clear, hand-blown glass disc with a slim metal stem to deliver considered ambient and accent illumination for large residential interiors.

The design reads as minimalist and architectural: a long, slender vertical tail extends below a circular backplate while an offset horizontal arm supports the glass disc. The Calvino Large Tail Sconce is available in Aged Iron and Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass, Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Polished Nickel.

Materials are honest and tactile — metal for the stem, an aged or brushed brass backplate and a flat, hand-blown glass disc that appears to float at the apex of the stem. The contrast between warm brass tones and a matte dark tail creates a modern, composed silhouette.
