STORY

The Visual Comfort Callaway Small Flush Mount by Carrier and Company is a caged drum ceiling light from the Callaway range. The design pairs a soft, slightly tapered linen shade with a structural metal cage to deliver considered ambient illumination for interiors.

The fixture's form is intentionally architectural: two horizontal metal rings are joined by four vertical bars to create a restrained caged silhouette. Shown here with a dark metal finish, the Callaway is also available in Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Bronze.

Construction combines a fine woven fabric inner shade with a rigid metal outer frame. Small exposed fasteners mark the junctions between vertical struts and rings, reinforcing a transitional, subtly industrial aesthetic.

Light is softened by side and bottom fabric panels and a matching flat diffuser, giving even, low-glare ambient illumination suitable for living areas, hallways and bedrooms. The flush-mount design sits directly against the ceiling for a neat, low-profile presence. The fitting carries an IP20 rating for interior dry locations.
