STORY

The Visual Comfort Callaway Pendant, designed by Carrier and Company, marries a slightly tapered drum shade with a minimalist metal cage to create a considered pendant for indoor ambient lighting. The Callaway range balances industrial and traditional cues to give a modern yet gently vintage atmosphere.

The pendant's form features a tapered (frustum) shade cradled within a cage of metal horizontal rings and vertical rods, with the vertical bars extending slightly above the top ring as a subtle architectural detail. It is available in Bronze and Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass finishes.

Construction relies on metal hardware for the frame, chain suspension and circular canopy, paired with a translucent, off-white linen-style shade that softens the light. Exposed fastenings underline the collection's utilitarian aesthetic.

The enclosed, translucent shade diffuses light evenly to reduce glare and provide soft ambient illumination. As a ceiling pendant it is intended to deliver balanced, general lighting while contributing texture and shadow definition to a room.

Installation uses a classic metal link chain for adjustable drop and a circular canopy for a hardwired connection to a standard ceiling electrical box. The fitting carries an IP20 rating and a one-year manufacturer warranty.
