STORY

The Visual Comfort Brindille Chandelier by Champalimaud is a four-light pendant designed to provide soft ambient overhead illumination in living and dining interiors. Its twig-inspired silhouette and gently glowing shades form a considered central feature where atmosphere matters.

The design balances organic form with precise engineering: slender, branch-like metal arms extend from a central hub to support low-profile, ellipsoidal glass discs. The Brindille is offered in Polished Nickel and Soft Brass finishes to suit contemporary and warmer schemes.

Construction combines a metal frame and canopy with translucent white glass shades that sit like floating discs. The minimalist hardware and clean joints emphasise a refined, modern aesthetic while retaining an effortless sense of poise.

The opal/frosted shades deliver soft, diffused light and the asymmetrical, multi-directional arms spread illumination across a wide horizontal plane. Each shade is mounted using a spoon-shaped brass fitting that permits 360° rotation for adjustable aim and compositional control.

Mounting uses a circular ceiling canopy for direct connection to a standard junction box; the vertical downrod comprises multiple joined sections to allow adjustment of the hanging height. The fitting is rated IP20 and intended for indoor, dry-zone applications. A one-year manufacturer warranty applies.
