STORY

The Visual Comfort Bonnington Chandelier, designed by Aerin Lauder, is a small-scale ceiling pendant that interprets mid-century modern geometry through crystal and metal. The Bonnington range combines a compact footprint with an architectural silhouette, making it suitable as a focal pendant in hallways, smaller rooms or as a grouped arrangement above surfaces.

The design centres on a circular metal frame with an arrangement of vertical, elongated crystal rods set to staggered heights for a tiered effect. The Bonnington is offered in Hand‑Rubbed Antique Brass and Polished Nickel and is available in Small and Large sizes to suit different scales and compositions.

Hand-cut glass rods and a metal frame form the visible structure: faceted, elongated crystal rods refract light while a colour-matched linked metal chain suspends the fitting. The ceiling mount is a small, faceted hexagonal metal canopy that completes the geometric composition.

Internal light sources are positioned behind the crystal rods so the glass diffuses and refracts the output, producing a shimmering ambient glow rather than a direct task beam. This makes the Bonnington ideal where decorative ambient light and atmosphere are required—corridors, entrance halls, living spaces or clustered over a kitchen island.

The fixture is supplied with a chain suspension that allows the hanging height to be adjusted during installation. The Bonnington is rated IP20 for indoor, dry locations and carries a 1 year manufacturer warranty. Please consult the technical specification for lamp type and supply. As a general guide, we recommend installing ceiling fixtures 30–36" above the surface of a kitchen island; when using multiple pendants, allow a minimum spacing of 30" between the widest parts.
