STORY

The Visual Comfort Beaumont Medium Tail Sconce, designed by Aerin Lauder for the Beaumont range, reframes a classic buffet-lamp silhouette as a decorative wall light. Its elongated profile and petal-like tiers give a quiet, sculptural presence that suits living rooms, libraries and other interior spaces where considered ambience matters.

Formally the sconce pairs a slender, slightly tapered metal stem with stacked, bowl-shaped collars and a full linen drum shade. The design is offered in three finishes: Gild, Aged Iron and Matt White, allowing the fitting to read either subtly or as a feature within a scheme.

Construction is metal for the body with a fine-textured surface and a cream/off-white linen shade that shows a visible weave. The backplate is oval-shaped to suit wall mounting and to sit neatly against typical plaster or timber surfaces.

The linen shade functions as a diffuser, softening light and reducing glare to create ambient illumination or relaxed task light for reading. As a decorative interior sconce it is intended for dry zones; the product carries an IP20 rating and should not be used in wet or high-moisture locations.

Note that bulbs are not supplied and there is no separate driver or transformer included. The fitting is supplied with its linen shade and a 1-year manufacturer warranty. Refer to the product specification for exact lamp type and dimming compatibility before finalising control gear for a project.
