STORY

The Visual Comfort Bau 28 Pendant is a ceiling-mounted pendant from the Bau range, designed by Sean Lavin. It references Bauhaus geometry through four circular, stamped metal fins arranged around a central vertical light column, producing considered interior ambient illumination.

Formally restrained, the pendant creates a three-dimensional spherical silhouette. It is offered in Natural Brass and Nightshade Black, and supplied in Small, Medium and Large sizes to suit a range of ceiling arrangements and visual scales.

Constructed from stamped metal, the fixture uses a slender rigid downrod and a cylindrical canopy. The metal fins are arranged radially and the canopy shows secure fixing points, underlining an architectural, durable build.

An integrated LED source sits within the central column behind a white translucent diffuser; the perpendicular metal fins act as a baffle system to reflect and soften the output, delivering indirect ambient light with a high CRI (90) for accurate colour rendering. The pendant is rated IP20 for indoor, dry locations.

The pendant uses a fixed-length rigid suspension suitable for typical ceiling heights and is covered by a 1 year warranty. As dimming hardware and driver inclusion vary by specification, check compatibility with your electrician or project notes when planning controls.
