STORY

The Visual Comfort Bau Bathroom Wall Light from the Bau range, designed by Sean Lavin, is a linear bathroom vanity light that reads as an architectural bar. The minimalist, Bauhaus-inspired silhouette brings calm, geometric presence to contemporary bathrooms and vanity areas.

Formally the fitting is composed of thin, flat rectangular plates that extend horizontally from a central rectangular mounting block. The ‘floating’ plate arrangement creates a layered effect and is available in Nightshade Black or Natural Brass to suit modern schemes.

Constructed in metal with a smooth, matte dark finish on the darker option, the Bau emphasises clean lines and concealed fixings. The design purposefully omits decorative embellishment to maintain a precise, architectural aesthetic.

Light is delivered by integrated LEDs hidden between the layered plates, producing a thin, continuous line of warm light from the bottom edge. The source is shielded from direct view to provide a glare-free, indirect glow suitable for vanity illumination and general ambient use.

The central rear box houses the wall mounting and electrical connections for a neat installation. The fitting is supplied with integrated LEDs and a CRI of 90; a 1 years manufacturer warranty is documented. Please confirm dimming and installation requirements with your electrician or project installer, as driver and dimming details are not listed here.
