STORY

The Visual Comfort Axis Large Linear Sconce, designed by Kelly Wearstler, brings a restrained architectural presence to interior walls. The Axis range is known for modern, purist geometry and this large vertical sconce emphasises the intersection of square and cylindrical forms in metal.

The fixture pairs a square backplate and a short square-profile arm with an exceptionally slender vertical cylindrical light rod; it is offered in Bronze, Antique-Burnished Brass and Polished Nickel to suit a range of schemes. The linear, pared-back silhouette is intended to complement both curving furnishings and angular interiors.

Constructed from metal with a consistent burnished finish, the sconce shows careful metalwork details such as a square collar and subtle recessed notches at the ends of the tube. The finish and proportions give a considered, premium feel consistent with designer lighting.

Light is delivered by an integrated linear LED contained within the vertical rod, providing vertical accent or ambient illumination depending on siting. The slim profile keeps visual clutter to a minimum while creating a clear vertical plane of light for hallways, dining rooms and feature walls.

This is a fixed, hardwired wall fitting mounted via the square backplate. The product carries an IP20 rating and is intended for interior, dry locations; consult the spec sheet for detailed installation guidance and wiring notes.
