The Visual Comfort Avedon Table Lamp, designed by Marie Flanigan for the Avedon range, is a considered table lamp that combines an organic woven base with a classic fabric shade to provide localised ambient and task lighting.

Its form pairs a bulbous, textured base with a tapered empire-style shade to create a calm, balanced silhouette. The lamp is offered in Plaster White Rattan and Natural Rattan finishes to suit both light and earth-toned schemes.

The base is finished in a dense woven material and connects to the shade via a short metal neck with a brass-coloured appearance, while the shade is an off-white fabric with a fine visible weave. The construction gives a tactile, handcrafted feel while remaining visually restrained.

The off-white fabric shade acts as a diffuser to soften and distribute light from the internal lamp, making this fitting appropriate for bedside ambience or focused desk illumination where a warm, balanced atmosphere is required.
