STORY

The Visual Comfort Asalea Chandelier by Aerin Lauder is a two-tier ceiling chandelier that reinterprets mid-century French design with contemporary materials. The design shown features twelve light points arranged as four on the upper tier and eight on the lower, making it suitable as a decorative ambient fitting for dining and living rooms.

The fixture's silhouette relies on horizontal arms radiating from a central stem to support the double-cup clear glass shades. Each shade pairs a taller upper cup with a shorter lower cup joined by a central metal band, creating an hourglass profile and refined vertical texture. It is available in Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass and Polished Nickel.

Constructed from metal and clear glass, the chandelier is finished in hand-rubbed antique brass as pictured and suspends from a matching chain into a circular canopy. The vertical ribbing on the glass adds tactile character and a subtle refracting effect as light moves through the shades.

Internal light sources are visible through the translucent ribbed glass, which softens and diffuses the output to produce an ambient ceiling wash while retaining clarity and gentle shadow.
