STORY

The Visual Comfort Aran Table Lamp is a rechargeable accent lamp in the Aran range, pairing a natural alabaster disc with a metal column for a compact, portable light. Its upright, symmetrical form and stone diffuser reference classical materiality while remaining contemporary in scale and use.

The design combines a fluted, cylindrical stem and a stepped circular base with a gear-like edge, finished in a choice of Bronze, Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass or Polished Nickel. These finish options allow the lamp to sit comfortably in traditional and modern schemes alike.

Construction highlights include a thick, disc-shaped alabaster diffuser mounted atop a textured metal column. The alabaster is a natural stone, so individual veining will vary and contributes to a warm, organic glow when lit.

The light source is concealed beneath the top cap and directs illumination through and under the alabaster disc, producing a soft, diffused accent light suitable for tables, sideboards and low-level ambient layers. The lamp is cordless and rechargeable, designed to be used away from fixed mains outlets.

A small circular control on the top cap functions as the lamp's power and dimming control, offering simple adjustment without external controls. The Aran carries an IP20 rating and a one-year manufacturer's warranty; it is intended for indoor use only.
