STORY

The Visual Comfort Andros Pendant by Chapman & Myers is a ceiling-mounted pendant light from the Andros range. Its clear, deep bell-shaped glass shade and vertical socket create a transitional look that delivers overhead ambient and direct downward illumination for interiors.

The design uses a classic bell silhouette paired with an elongated chain-link suspension and a stepped circular canopy. The Andros is offered in Polished Nickel and Antique-Burnished Brass, in Medium and Large sizes, and with Clear, White or Smoked glass options to suit different schemes.

Construction is metal and glass: metal components including the canopy, chain and socket assembly carry an antique-burnished brass treatment where specified, while a metal loop secures the shade to the chain. The clear glass bell is open at the bottom to reveal the lamp and proportionally complement the shade.

Light is supplied from a single vertical socket designed to present a long, tubular (T-style) filament bulb; the open-bottom shade allows direct downward light and straightforward bulb access for changes. The fixture is intended for interior use and is rated IP20.
