STORY

The Visual Comfort Alberto Small Open Cage Lantern by Julie Neill is a pendant lantern from the Alberto range, conceived as a sculptural ceiling light for interior spaces. Its lantern silhouette and botanical detailing reference the textured, nature-inspired work of Diego Giacometti.

The design combines a rectangular open-cage base formed from thin metal bars with a four-sided pyramidal top. A heavy-link suspension chain and matching circular canopy complete the composition. The range is offered in Antique Gold Leaf and Plaster White finishes.

Constructed in metal with a hand‑textured surface, the frame carries an irregular, tactile finish that reads like sculpted plaster. Decorative flower-shaped cups house the lamp holders, giving the fitting an artisanal, organic presence.

Light is provided by three upward-facing candelabra-style bulbs that deliver indirect ambient illumination through the open cage. The absence of glass panels keeps the fitting visually light and allows simple access for lamp replacement. The lantern is well suited to interior rooms such as dining areas, hallways, living rooms and bedrooms.

The fitting is supplied with a heavy-link chain and circular ceiling canopy; bulbs are not included. The product carries an IP20 rating for interior dry spaces and includes a one-year manufacturer warranty.
