STORY

The Vistosi Minigiogali Surface Ceiling Light by Angelo Mangiarotti is a surface-mounted ceiling light from the Minigiogali range. Its tiered, semi-spherical silhouette is formed from numerous linked clear glass loops and is intended to provide ambient interior illumination.

The design uses stacked layers of open glass loops that taper inward to create a voluminous, textured form. The Minigiogali is offered in a wide range of finishes and variants to suit different interior schemes.

Each glass element has a smooth, glossy translucent finish and the components interlock to produce a repetitive, chain-mail-like texture. The fitting is supported by a circular metal mounting plate that sits flush against the ceiling surface.

The layered glass refracts and diffuses light, casting intricate radial patterns across the ceiling while providing soft, general illumination. The surface-mount format makes the fitting appropriate where a flush installation is required or where ceiling heights vary. Note the product is supplied with an IP20 rating for interior use.
