STORY

Vibia Kontur Pendant is a linear ceiling light by Sebastian Herkner, part of Vibia's Kontur range. The design pairs a clean, geometric outer frame with a softer, wave-shaped internal element to deliver a contemporary, architectural presence suited to elongated surfaces.

The pendant reads as a frame within a frame: a slim, horizontal metal border in a matte-black finish surrounds a wave-contoured diffuser that spans the length of the fixture. Its low-profile canopy and minimalist silhouette keep sightlines clean while emphasising proportion and balance.

Construction combines a metal outer frame with a translucent, frosted central element to soften and spread light. The canopy matches the fixture finish and the overall build is intended to present a precise, architectural aesthetic.

The light source sits within the curved central element, providing diffuse illumination that works equally well as ambient lighting or task lighting over dining tables and kitchen islands. The design controls glare through the frosted diffuser and directs even light along the length of the fitting.

Suspension cables are adjustable at installation to suit different ceiling heights and the fitting features a discreet, narrow ceiling canopy. The pendant is specified with an IP20 rating for interior use and comes with a two-year manufacturer warranty.
