Vibia Flat Ceiling Light

Vibia Flat Ceiling Light, designed by Ichiro Iwasaki, is a surface-mounted ceiling fitting from the Flat range. The design combines a thin, matte-black linear frame with three flat, circular diffusers to create a sculptural, multi-level ambient fixture suited to interior spaces.

The composition uses offset horizontal planes to spread light broadly across a room while keeping a low profile. It is offered in two appearance options: White, and White/Green/Grey, allowing straightforward coordination with contemporary interiors.

Construction centres on a cylindrical matte-black ceiling canopy and a network of slim arms that support three diffusing discs. The frame is finished in a dark matte coating and the disc faces are a uniform translucent white, appearing as frosted glass or matte acrylic.

The tiered discs act as reflectors and diffusers to deliver balanced ambient illumination across a wider area than a single-source flush ceiling light. The design is appropriate where a decorative, graphic ceiling presence is required without a deep drop from the ceiling.
