TOOY Legier Ceiling Light

The TOOY Legier Ceiling Light, designed by Corrado Dotti for TOOY, interprets classical Murano forms as a low-profile, surface-mounted ceiling fitting. The collection’s distinctive blown-glass diffuser brings decorative presence while remaining suited to general interior overhead lighting.

Formally the Legier piece reads as an oblate, flattened globe — a softened spheroid that balances elegance with restraint. It is offered with a small metallic connection in Copper, Brushed Brass or Light Grey, and the glass diffuser is available in opal white or smoke.

The diffuser is mouth-blown glass, finished with a high-gloss surface that emphasises the shape and internal reflections. The metal canopy and connection are finished to match the scheme and engineered to hold the glass securely in a flush ceiling position.

Light is delivered as softened, diffused illumination: the translucent glass reduces glare and creates a calm ambience for living spaces, hallways or bedrooms. The smoked option gives a moodier, more contrasted atmosphere while opal glass produces a balanced, even glow.

As a surface/flush-mounted fitting the Legier Ceiling Light is specified for interior use and carries an IP40 rating, so it is not suitable for wet or directly exposed external locations.
