Terzani Etoile Suspension

Terzani Etoile Suspension is a large‑scale horizontal pendant conceived as a sculptural centrepiece. Designed for Terzani and attributed to Christian Lava, the Etoile presents a deliberate, celestial aesthetic that reads as a cluster of stars when illuminated.

The form is an elongated rectangular volume made from many interwoven linear metal shafts that create an irregular, pointed silhouette. The fitting is offered as a single sculptural statement; its suspension can be shortened on site and the drop adjusted during installation.

The framework is nickel‑plated metal with a polished, reflective finish and shows hand‑forged, hand‑welded intersections that give industrial materials an artisanal quality. The open, three‑dimensional lattice deliberately exposes the craftsmanship of the metalwork.

Multiple small light sources are integrated within the metal mesh so the pendant delivers decorative ambient illumination and a distinctive play of light and shadow across surrounding surfaces. The open design casts intricate patterns rather than providing focused task light.

Mounting is via three slim vertical cables and a central power cord into a small ceiling canopy; the system allows for height adjustment during installation. The fixture is intended for dry, interior locations (IP20). A two‑year manufacturer warranty applies.
