Tala Large Ceiling Canopy

The Tala Large Ceiling Canopy is a large circular ceiling canopy by Tala, designed as a mounting plate for multiple pendant lights. Its low-profile disc and mixed-material aesthetic—steel rim with a broad wooden inner disc—make it a discreet architectural accent above a lighting cluster.

Form is deliberately simple: a slim, circular geometry that sits flush against the ceiling. It is offered in three appearances: Black & Ash, White & Walnut and White & Oak, each combining a powder-coated metal rim with a contrasting wooden inner disc to add texture and depth.

Construction pairs a steel outer rim with a visible wooden inner disc; the metal rim is finished in a smooth powder coat while the inner disc shows Oak, Walnut or Black Ash grain. The rim conceals internal mounting components and wiring for a tidy, finished look. A manufacturer warranty of 2–3 years applies.

Functionally the canopy is intended as a base for decorative lighting clusters. The large surface area provides space to arrange multiple pendants and, using the pre-holed metal guide on the reverse, designers can create a cluster of up to twelve hanging pendants. The result integrates into the ceiling while providing a considered decorative focus.

The canopy is surface-mounted and designed to accommodate pendant suspension and wiring; pendants, lamps and any external drivers or transformers are specified separately. The pre-holed guide on the reverse simplifies layout and installation, helping to position drops and conceal fixings.
