Its vertical hexagonal form echoes basalt columns: the metal body shows sand-cast and lost-wax casting textures on the vertical faces with polished horizontal ends, while a frosted hexagonal diffuser provides a continuous, sculptural silhouette. The Basalt is offered in Stainless Steel and Brass finishes.

The pendant combines traditional casting techniques with fine finishing details — the textured cast body, polished end faces and a subtle casting mark where the metal entered the form are all intentional craft cues.
