Stilnovo Fante Table Lamp

The Stilnovo Fante Table Lamp is a table lamp by Stilnovo from the Fante range, designed by De Pas, D'Urbino & Lomazzi. Its stacked geometric forms — a terracotta-red truncated cone base, an opal white spherical diffuser and a satin white circular shade — form a sculptural silhouette intended for interior ambient and task lighting.

Formally restrained and bold in colour, the Fante plays with scale and balance. The wide disc shade sits asymmetrically above the globe, creating an anthropomorphic figure and strong colour-blocking between the red base and white upper elements. The shade functions as a reflector to direct light downwards while shielding the user from direct glare.

The design relies on simple, geometric primitives arranged to give a stable footprint; the broad conical base supports the diffuser and disc while a black power cord exits discreetly from the base edge. The spherical diffuser houses the light source and produces softened illumination when lit.

The lamp delivers directed, low-glare light suitable for desks, bedside tables and other interior task or ambient zones. The adjustable shade/reflector permits modest tilting to refine beam direction. Note the fitting is rated IP20 and intended for indoor use only.
