STORY

The Artlite Sphere Pendant is a pendant ceiling light from Artlite's Sphere range. The small, bi-material shade pairs a metallic upper hemisphere with an opal glass lower hemisphere to provide considered interior ambient illumination.

Its form uses a clear equatorial metal band to separate metal and glass, creating a high-contrast, transitional aesthetic. The pendant is offered in Satin Nickel and Matt Black finishes to suit contemporary and industrial-inspired schemes.

The upper hemisphere and ceiling canopy are metal, while the lower hemisphere is opal/frosted glass that diffuses light. A small metal finial completes the base and the fitting is suspended by a matching chain-link system.

The translucent lower globe provides soft downward and lateral light diffusion while the opaque metal top directs light predominantly downwards, producing a balanced ambience and reduced glare for general interior lighting.

The chain suspension allows the drop to be adjusted to suit ceiling height and composition. This pendant is IP20 rated, intended for dry, interior locations. Artlite products carry a one-year warranty, with a five-year extended warranty available for particular LED products.
