The Resident Fulcrum Table Lamp, designed by Cheshire Architects, is a modern re‑expression of a two‑part table lamp. Its pill-shaped profile and monolithic, upright form suit the lamp to side tables, consoles and desks where considered, localised illumination is required.

Fulcrum's free‑formed upper shade pivots on a compact base, allowing the light to be adjusted from a soft glow to fuller output as the shade is rotated. It is offered in two material combinations: Cork & Paper and Bronze & Paper.

The shade is finished in a translucent paper that diffuses light across a broad surface, while the base is a solid, textured mass—either sand‑cast bronze or cork—producing the high‑contrast two‑part composition. A small U-shaped notch marks the join between the shade and base, a considered detail in the lamp's silhouette.
