STORY

The Nordlux Taurus Outdoor Ground Light is a directional outdoor ground light from Danish brand Nordlux, designed to provide focused spotlighting for gardens, pathways and driveways.

Its form is a compact cylindrical lamp mounted on a U-shaped swivel bracket above a tapered ground spike. The head shows a brushed-metal appearance with visible bezel screws and allows vertical tilt for beam control.

Construction details include a clear lens secured by visible screws, a waterproof cable gland at the rear and a ribbed, finned spike that tapers to a point to improve grip in soft ground. The head and bracket present an industrial, utilitarian aesthetic.

Light is delivered as an adjustable, directional spotlight for accenting planting, architectural features or approachways. The unit is rated IP54 for protection against dust and water splashes, and is intended for typical outdoor conditions rather than aggressive coastal or chemically aggressive environments. Manufacturer maintenance guidance advises treating the fitting with acid-free oil three to four times a year.

Installation is straightforward: the pointed spike is designed to be pushed into soil, mulch or lawn for a stable mount while two pivot bolts allow beam adjustment.
