The Nordlux Smart Sensor Motion Sensor is a compact wireless lighting accessory from Nordlux. Designed to work with Nordlux Smart Light bulbs and luminaires, the sensor detects motion and ambient light so connected fittings respond automatically.

The sensor has a low-profile rectangular form with a subtly curved front and a central faceted Fresnel lens for wide-angle detection. It is offered in Black and White, allowing the unit to read as discreet or deliberately contemporary within a scheme.

The body is a matte, durable plastic housing designed for surface mounting. The sensor is battery-operated with an approximate 400-day battery life and carries an IP54 rating for protection against splashing water.

Functionally the unit combines PIR motion detection with a lux sensor. It pairs over Bluetooth to the Nordlux Smart Light app where movement and darkness sensitivity are adjusted. The sensor can be mounted directly to a wall or fitted to the enclosed bracket to set the detection direction.

Installation is straightforward: the wireless, battery-powered design removes the need for cabling and the included bracket gives simple aiming. The sensor is an accessory and does not include lamps or a driver; use with compatible Nordlux Smart Light bulbs and luminaires is recommended.
