Mullan Lighting Rio Wall Light

Mullan Lighting Rio Wall Light is a decorative wall light from the Rio range by Mullan Lighting. The fitting is metal with an aged, weathered brass patina that references vintage and industrial barn‑light cues, and it is intended for wall-mounted downward illumination for task or accent use.

The design is deliberately minimalist: a wide, rolled‑rim conical shade sits on a fixed tubular arm that extends horizontally before curving 90 degrees to support the lamp head. The wall plate is a small, circular domed canopy and the Rio is offered in Antique Brass, Satin Brass, Antique Silver and Polished Brass.

Constructed from metal, the Rio shows a variegated surface in the aged brass option with bronze, copper and dark brown tones and a slight iridescent sheen. A cylindrical socket housing connects the arm to the top of the shade and the smooth, continuous bend in the arm creates an uninterrupted silhouette.

The wide-diameter shade directs broad, downward light while shielding the bulb from direct side view, making the fitting suitable for bedside, hallway or task-accent areas where controlled glare is important. The form works well to create focussed pools of light and a warm, vintage ambience depending on placement.

The Rio mounts to the wall via its circular canopy and secures to an internal bracket; a small side fixing screw is visible on the canopy. It has an IP20 rating and is therefore intended for interior, dry zones only. Warranty covers manufacturer defects only.
