The Mullan Lighting Praia 1 Tier Chandelier is a five-light ceiling pendant from the Praia range by Mullan Lighting. Its horizontal black metal ring and evenly spaced pendants read as a contemporary focal point, suited to dining rooms, foyers or kitchens where a defined ambient centrepiece is required.

The design combines a smooth black circular tier with teardrop-shaped wire cages suspended at five points around the perimeter. Braided brown textile cords converge to a single canopy, creating balanced symmetry and a tactile contrast between metal and textile.

Construction is straightforward and honest: a smooth black metal hoop supports metal wire cages formed with vertical ribs and horizontal support rings. The teardrop cages are finished in a darker metal tone, with small hook-like details at their bases that add a subtle decorative note.

The open-cage arrangement maximises light output and showcases elongated Edison-style filament bulbs for a warm, atmospheric glow; bulbs are sold separately. The five-pendant layout provides near 360-degree ambient illumination, making the fitting effective as an architectural centrepiece rather than a focused task light.

Practical notes: this is a Class I luminaire and requires an earth connection. It is IP20 rated for interior dry locations. The Praia chandelier is UL certified for North America and CE marked for the EU. Units are manufactured to order in Mullan Village and are typically dispatched within 2–3 weeks; lamps are not supplied.
