The design centres on a vertically segmented cylindrical post punctuated by polished brass collars and capped fittings. A tapered black fabric drum shade with a gold interior sits above a short horizontal arm and circular backplate, creating a modern-classical sconce that balances form and function.

Construction combines a powder-coated black wall plate and arm with polished brass fittings and a fabric shade; the backplate houses the wall-mounting and electrical connection. The structural arrangement supports a single upward-facing light source beneath the shade.
