STORY

The Astro Minima Bathroom Downlight is a slimline, recessed round downlight from Astro's Minima range, conceived for bathroom use where IP65 protection and fire-rated installation are required.

The fitting has a deep, conical baffle that tapers toward the light source, producing a restrained architectural aperture. It is offered in Matt Black and Matt White finishes so you can choose a low-contrast or high-contrast trim to suit the ceiling plane.

The visible interior is finished in a uniform matte black which provides a distinctive, high-contrast appearance when set into a light-coloured ceiling. The slim bezel sits nearly level with the ceiling surface for a minimal visual footprint, and the construction supports fire-rated installation requirements.

A textured lens sits deep within the centre of the aperture and the deep-set position of the light source reduces visual glare by shielding the lamp from direct view at oblique angles.
