STORY

The Marset Tam Tam Pendant is a sculptural ceiling pendant designed by Fabien Dumas for the Tam Tam range. The design reads as a single artistic installation formed from a central lacquered aluminium shade and a cluster of truncated conical satellite shades.

The form is intentionally organic and asymmetrical despite its geometric components. Satellite shades can be rotated through 360° to alter orientation; the cluster creates a changing silhouette from different viewpoints. The Tam Tam is available in Black, Off White, Blue Grey and Khaki.

Construction uses metal with a smooth, matte exterior and translucent methacrylate diffusers at the base of each cone. One cone within the assembly incorporates a warm metallic interior to provide a subtle focal accent within the neutral palette.

Light is delivered as soft, multi-directional ambient illumination: opalescent diffusers soften and disperse output across the shades, while multiple lamp heads spread light broadly across a space. The specification lists compatibility with 13 × E26 lamps (CFL T‑18W, incandescent A 60W or LED A 11W equivalents).

Installation is by ceiling suspension using discreet vertical cables attached to the central top cone. Overall dimensions are 1055 × 349 × 1027 mm. The manufacturer warranty is 2 years for defects only. The product data does not specify that lamps or a driver are supplied.
