STORY

Marset Tam Tam Pendant is a linear pendant ceiling light designed by Fabien Dumas for Marset. The Tam Tam reads as a considered architectural piece: a thin, lacquered metal bar suspends four lamp heads to deliver multi-directional light over a horizontal surface.

The design pairs a black lacquered metal structure with subtly varied, matte metal shades that form a soft earth-toned gradient. Each shade rotates independently and the heads can be oriented to create purposeful asymmetry or focused task light.

Construction combines lacquered aluminium shades with a slim metal suspension and opal methacrylate diffusers on the lower edge of each shade. The suspension uses two thin cables and a visible power connection, reinforcing the minimal profile.

Light is delivered through obscured sources; the opal methacrylate diffusers soften the output and reduce glare, making the Tam Tam suitable for ambient or task use above dining tables and kitchen islands. The linear arrangement provides balanced illumination across a work surface while allowing directional accents.

Electrical specification lists 120 V - 60 Hz and compatibility with E12 lamp types: 4× E12 CFL Type T 13W, 4× E12 Type G 40W or 4× E12 LED Type G16.5 5W. Confirm lamp supply, dimming compatibility and mains requirements with the retailer. Manufacturer warranty: 2 years (defects only).
