Marset Nº8 Wall Reading Light, designed by Christophe Mathieu, is a pared-back bedside wall light that pairs a matte black mounting plate with a turned wooden head. It is conceived for bedroom reading and other focused bedside tasks.

The Nº8 combines a long, flexible gooseneck arm covered in a black braided textile with a smooth, teardrop wooden diffuser. It is offered with a natural Oak or Wenge wooden head and measures 425 x 115 mm.

Construction uses a lacquered black metal wall plate and a brass flexible arm sheathed in braided fabric, capped by a turned wooden head. The tactile mix of metal, textile and timber gives a considered, sculptural detail at bedside height.

Light is recessed within the wooden head to provide a focused, low-glare beam suitable for task illumination. The fitting is supplied with an integrated LED module: 3W, 700mA, 2700K producing approximately 150 lm (LED included).
