Marset Ginger Pendant

The Marset Ginger Pendant, designed by Joan Gaspar for the Ginger range, is a refined ceiling pendant that reads like a small sculpture. The design is offered in both the wood-based Ginger and a metal version, each conceived to deliver soft, reflected ambient light.

Ginger's form is minimalist: a large, almost flat upper disk with a smaller hemispherical cup suspended centrally beneath it by a slim stem and fine suspension cable. The pendant is available in Black-White, Brushed Brass-White, Brushed Brass, Oak-White and Wenge-White finishes to suit a range of schemes.

Construction varies across the collection. The wood variants use a pressed laminate allowing a very flat profile; the metal options use injected aluminium components with dissipater details and matt lacquers. The metal example is finished matt black externally with a white inner surface to enhance reflection.

Light is delivered indirectly: the lamp is concealed in the lower cup and projects upward onto the white inner surface of the larger disk to create a glare-free, reflected glow. This makes the Ginger Pendant a calm ambient source, suitable as a central feature over tables or to provide balanced light in open plan spaces.

Multiple dimming control options are offered across the range (DALI, Triac, 1‑10V) — check the selected variant for its specific control compatibility. Warranty is two years (defects only). The pendant is supplied for ceiling suspension from a single mounting point and hangs on a thin electrical cord; confirm variant details for lamps, drivers or transformers.
