The backplate is a pressed wood diffuser a highpressure laminate of wood, paper and resins, produced at an approximately 4 mm thickness.

How does the light deliver illumination?
The light source is hidden behind the central matte dome and projects indirectly, reflecting off the wooden backplate to produce a soft, diffuse ambient glow.

Is this fitting flushmounted and where is it appropriate to use?
Yes. It is designed for flush mounting directly to a wall and is suitable as an accent in bedrooms, hallways, bedside areas and hospitality spaces.
