LZF Lola Wall Light

The LZF Lola Wall Light is a decorative wall applique designed by Ray Power for LZF. The Lola range translates sculptural form into luminous texture, using folded wood veneer to create a tapered, semi-conical silhouette that reads as a piece of wall-mounted sculpture as well as a light source.

The shade is formed from multiple overlapping, interwoven strips of thin wood veneer that produce a repeating geometric pattern. The assembly is wider at the top than the base and is offered in Natural Beech and Ivory White finishes, allowing the design to sit quietly in both warm and muted interior schemes.

Crafted from wood veneer with a supporting metal structure, the Lola applique shows a smooth, matte surface and a highly textured profile. The rhythmic folding and fine workmanship create a dynamic play of shadow and relief whether lit or not, emphasising the artisanal character of the piece.

Light filters through the woven structure and the veneer itself, while the open top and bottom of the cone permit upward and downward distribution. The result is soft, diffused ambient illumination that adds atmosphere and subtle contrast to interior walls; the fitting is intended for indoor, dry areas.
