Lutron Wireless Daylight Sensor is a compact lighting control accessory intended to monitor ambient light and communicate with a lighting management system to adjust artificial light output. The device’s low-profile form and monochrome white appearance make it suitable for unobtrusive placement on ceilings or walls.

The sensor is finished in white plastic with a dual-texture treatment: an opaque lower body and a translucent upper window that allows light to reach the internal sensor. The front fascia includes three tactile controls—Link, Test and Cal—laid out for straightforward commissioning and daily verification.

Construction uses durable plastics with a translucent upper aperture to ensure consistent light measurement. The face carries the LUTRON logo and a small triangular indicator positioned above the branding, which aligns with Lutron’s familiar daylight-sensor interface.

Functionally the sensor monitors ambient light level and relays that information back to a compatible lighting control network so artificial lighting can be adjusted automatically. The Link button is used for pairing to a wireless network, the Test button verifies operation and communication status, and the Cal button sets calibration thresholds for automatic operation.

Installation is surface-mounted to ceilings or walls for cord-free operation. The product is supplied with manufacturer warranty terms that vary by Lutron system: RA2 Select and RadioRA 3 are covered for two years from shipment; HomeWorks QS and HomeWorks have tiered coverage up to eight years for residential applications and two years for commercial use.
