STORY

The Lutron Pico Wireless Lighting Remote is a compact, battery-powered keypad from the Pico range by Lutron. Its slim rectangular form and four-button modular layout make it a discreet control for scene and light-level adjustment within compatible smart lighting systems.

The Pico is deliberately minimal: a slim rectangular faceplate with four vertically arranged rectangular push-buttons, each marked with a graphical lightbulb icon to indicate levels or scenes. The matte-white finish and restrained iconography allow the unit to blend into modern interiors while providing clear tactile feedback and a small status LED for confirmation.

Constructed from white plastics with a matte surface, the keypad is built for everyday use. The tactile buttons and subtle Lutron marking reinforce a restrained, functional aesthetic that suits domestic and specification-led projects.

As a control interface rather than a luminaires, the Pico sends scene and dimming commands to a compatible system: the top button denotes full brightness while lower buttons step through reduced levels or an off/low state. Use it handheld for occasional control, mount on a tabletop pedestal, or fit into a standard wallplate for fixed operation.

The unit is battery-powered and communicates wirelessly with compatible lighting systems; it does not contain a light source or driver. It can be handheld, pedestal-mounted or installed in a standard wallplate—check wallplate compatibility before installation. Manufacturer warranty varies by system: RA2 Select and RadioRA 3 have a two‑year warranty from shipment; HomeWorks QS and HomeWorks have prorated coverage up to eight years for residential installations.
