STORY

The Lodes Random Solo Pendant, designed by Chia‑Ying Lee for the Random range, is a blown glass ceiling pendant that reads as a single floating bubble of light. Its perfectly spherical, transparent diffuser and minimalist profile suit interiors where a calm, sculptural presence is required.

A thin vertical cable suspends the glass sphere from a small, tapered conical cap in an off‑white finish, keeping the suspension visually light and emphasising the globe. The Random Solo is offered in multiple size and finish options so it can be specified as a solitary focal pendant or arranged in lightweight clusters.

The diffuser is hand-blown glass with a smooth, high-gloss surface that reflects its surroundings while keeping the lower hemisphere visually pure. The technical components are integrated at the top of the sphere to preserve the form.

The internal light source sits at the top of the globe and delivers a soft white glow; colour temperatures are available at 2700K and 3000K with a high CRI of 90 for accurate colour rendering. With an IP20 rating, the pendant is intended for dry interior use and works well above dining tables, kitchen islands and in grouped compositions for circulation spaces.

Installation notes: the canopy is sold separately. Check canopy compatibility and mounting requirements with your electrician or project manager. Manufacturer warranty: 1 year.
