Lodes Kelly Pendant

The Lodes Kelly Pendant, designed by Andrea Tosetto, is a large-scale ceiling-mounted pendant that combines sculptural form with considered light control. The design pairs a monolithic dome silhouette with intricate laser-cut detailing; an inner glass diffuser conceals the light source to preserve visual comfort.

The Kelly’s form is a hemispherical shade with a solid upper half and a laser-cut lower half that opens into an organic, asymmetrical lattice. The pendant is offered in various sizes to suit different ceiling heights and interior proportions.

Finishes include a uniform matte dark bronze or antique copper exterior that emphasises the shade’s silhouette, while the upper interior is finished in a light tone to improve reflection. The fixture is suspended by three thin metallic support cables and a central electrical cord for a balanced presentation.

The solid top section directs the majority of light downward for task or table illumination, while the open-work lower section allows light to escape sideways and cast complex, dappled shadows across surrounding surfaces. The inner diffuser softens the lamp glow to reduce glare and create a warmer ambience.
