Lodes Jefferson Suspension Lamp

The Lodes Jefferson Suspension Lamp, designed by Luca Nichetto, is a pendant that pairs a capsule-shaped crystal body with a slim central metal stem. The design references 1960s psychedelic motifs while remaining suited to contemporary interiors and LED lighting performance.

The shade is an ellipsoidal, horizontally ribbed diffuser that carries a distinct vortex motif. The texturing wraps the form to create subtle movement in the glass; the lamp is offered in Black Chrome and Gold finishes and is well suited to single or clustered compositions.

Crafted from clear Bohemian crystal, the diffuser refracts and softens light while a slender vertical rod passes through the shade to form the structural spine. The suspension is via a single thin cable attached to the central stem, producing a clean, minimal silhouette against the ornate glass.

The textured crystal is designed to break up and diffuse light from an internal LED source to create a soft, atmospheric glow appropriate for ambient lighting. Its form reduces direct glare while emphasising texture and shadow from the vortex grooves.

Please note: the canopy is sold separately and cluster suspension installations must be mounted on a canopy. The fitting is rated IP20 for indoor use.
